Top side. The lid is screwed onto the body insert. This way, if I need to get to ANY electronics, all i have to do is take the neck off and take the back off. Easy easy.

Very nice set up Wes. I've never wired em that why yet but I know how it's done. Glad to hear somebody understands intonation and adjustments. Makes a world of difference for any make or model.
The two hummers are tapable. That is they can be humbucker or single coil pups. The two switches on the top right control the bridge and neck pups. Up is humbucker, middle is off and down is single. The two pots on the right are tones for the bridge and neck and the one on the left is the blender (Volume is not shown but is to the left of the blender.
The interior is solid pine as its still strong enough but lighter than oak or ash.

I uploaded a pic of the front side with the bridge. See this album. Also the wiring of the switches.

Oh and the saddle (not shown) is a wrap around with adjustable intonation and the whole saddle/bridge assembly can be skewed as needed.
