Cigar Box Guitar amp conversion?????

Anyone know how to covert a 1939-40 Roberts Rosseto working valve radio so i can plug into the amp circuit with a cigar box guitar??Would make sweet practice amp lovely deep tone... works and has the original light plug socket too!!
