This is my beautiful new Canjo which I've recently received from the very talented and extremely cool Rhyan at CIG-R-Guitars here in the UK. I'm in love...(with the Canjo, not Rhyan!!) I cannot fault the build quality, which is simply superb, from the bone nut and saddle, perfect fretting, intonation and action, a super neat scarf joint at the head stock, and everywhere else you look...the care, skill and passion employed in it's construction are so apparent. This is one fine quality instrument, and it plays beautifully and sounds amazing, all for a very modest price indeed. Thank you so much Rhyan for your artistry and impeccable craftsmanship, I will cherish it always and my family and I will have hours of fun and smiles with it...we already are! Thanks are also due to Ben Gitty for showing me that I needed a Canjo in my life, following watching a recent episode of the splendid 'Gitty Guys Show'....he was 100 percent correct!!!! Hi Dave, I'll have to see if I can record some video and upload it....that old tin sure has a lovely bright resonance. 'Modern' tins seem to made from a different (cheaper?!) material and sound duller to my ears.
