  • Yup, on the intonation.  The shorter the scale the harder to get right.  3 eases the task.

  • Thanks Uncle John, we shall see... going to take my time and try to get it right, the intonation in particular. I dig the double course string sound but -really- like 3 stringers. -Glenn

  • Hope you like the outcome.  I think you might be happier with a four string in GDAE standard mando tuning.  There are 2 finger chords that make playing easy in the keys of G and C.

  • Time for converting this ol' mandolin neck to a 3 string cbg. Here we go... -Glenn
