Thanks Frank, I was quite happy with how my first go at fretting ended up. The purfling on the edge wasn't planned but the edge of the neck kept splitting so used that so I didn't have to make the neck too thin! Saw a photo of someone else using this method on the site somewhere and liked the look of it.
