This looks and plays much better with the new fretboard and saddle. I left the walnut clean and just use marks on the side of the neck as guides for slide playing. There's a slight buzz when fingering the 7th fret position I wasn't able to eliminate. Annoying, but a non-issue when playing slide. Action is still a bit high but, again, slide playing renders that moot.
