  • Hello my fellow Canadian, thanks for the input, I'm new to this hobby, so I really appreciate any and all advice, especially from a seasoned builder. I've admired some of the work you have posted on here, Scott.

    My thinking was to keep the strings lined up as straight as possible. I've already planned another build and I'm going to make a headstock along the lines of a Parker Fly guitar headstock (see image) but modified for 3 string.

  • Very nice. We're on opposite ends of Canada (I'm in Nova Scotia). Just a little observation...tuning pegs operate/stay in tune better when strings "leave" posts on the inside, like on your middle string. Tough to do on a narrow headstock, but just wanted to offer a humble assist.
