This huge Carlos Torano box (12-7/8 x 7-1/2 x 2-7/8) has a huge sound! I need to rustle up more of these. It's a great looker too, perfect for a Chief Master Sergeant. This one is part of Cigar Box Nation's CBGs for Service Members. As with most of my recent builds, I thinned the top to 1/8" and added tone bars. From the 'family tree' as I'll call it, the walnut neck is complimented beautifully by the padauk fretboard. I was rummaging through the woodpile and was surprised to find I still had a piece of padauk. No stain needed here! Ebony binding, white Mother of Pearl fretmarkers, brass side dots, chrome enclosed tuners, bone nut and bridge, Gitty's classy screened soundhole covers and chrome strap buttons complete the package.More athttp://www.huntznsam.com/cbg_111151.htmlRead more…
