  • Number one!   Most number ones do not look like this.  You even got nice string height.  You must be a skilled wood worker. 

    How is the playing coming?  Lots of how to play help on the internet,youtube and at page top under resources.  The video that helped me most was knotlenny's CBG 101.  That is for tunings like GDG (most common 3 string tuning) or DAD.

    If you already play sixes or ukes, a great tuning is DGB using those strings from a six set.  DGB gives you an open G chord with 2 finger C, D, D7 and a one finger Em.  You can slide it or finger chord it.  Play in pretty much all keys.   Look at a six string chord chart and just use the DGB strings.
