  • Thanks guys, for the kind words.
Yeah, that chair is one of mine, and much more comfortable than it looks. The joke at the time was that my woodworking skills were devolving and soon I would be walking into the tall sea oat grass by the water, turn in circles a few times and say "hey, look at my new couch!" I do really like this style of furniture - sort of like CBGs cuts to the bare essentials of what's necessary to do a job.
"Daisy Rock?" eh? I learned how to find fret positions from an old book by Howie Mitchel on dulcimer making. I think that's where I got the heart sound hole idea. It was before I'd ever seen a real dulcimer.
  • vintage looking david, great build,i likes the moss in the trees, makes me think of my homeland.and the chair makes me think about how many seats i have woven that way,but not ever on a chair that was as great looking as that one.this pic is worth a thousand words.
  • Nice David! I likes it. The heart gives it a kinda Daisy Rock feel! Love that chair too - one of yours?
