This is a fun re-post from my blog post. I just wanted to save the file in the Photos folder section and post it here.------------------I found this old photo of a musical legend named Boxcar Lynas. He knew all the early bluesmen of the 1920's... after he graduated from art school, he decided to take some "time off" and ride the rails 'cross country. In a short time Boxcar Lynas became a famous street busker, playing with some of the greatest Bluesmen of all time such as BlindBoy Beetle and Unckle Johnny Twang. He traveled from the east coast to the west, from Memphis to Nashville, where ever he went, the crowds would gather 'round as "ol' Boxcar" played his homemade one string cigar box fiddle.Legend has it, one time while street preforming in the New Orleans french quarter, Boxcar Lynas put on such a great show he caused a traffic jam, delivery carts, streetcars and shoeshine boys gathered to hear him play his homemade one string diddle fiddle. He got so many tips he filled up a tin can with buffalo nickels in just 30 minutes!----------------------Ha Ha,I found this photo on eBay and just thought I would have a little fun with a storyI made up this story I just thought this photos is super wonderful!it was for sale, if anyone is interested, it is here, I asked the owner if I could use it and he said yes, but if you are interested here it ishttps://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairmount-Tennessee-Postcard-REAL-PHOTO-Cigar-Box-Fiddle-Music-Instrument-1914/192846513555?hash=item2ce68c4593:g:uW4AAOSwFfJcfZzr-------
