The wife of a guy I played in a band with contacted me to build this guitar for Father's Day. She said it could be an art guitar for wall hanging but it was just as easy to make it playable using stuff from y tackle box and CB Gitty tuners. Looks like a popular project as I have taken a second order.

As to the hooks looking sharp I usually tell folks, since these are giggable instruments that's it's same principle as owning a Martin or other fine guitar. You would not leave your kids unsupervised with it. Don't do that with these either.
