I took the twin ported Quitero down to Belize again this year. I had to stuff it in the overhead this time so I waited until everything was loaded in the bins and put it on top. It's been on six flights, no case...no damage. I have no worries taking it with me where ever I go. I just pop it in a transparent bag in case of rain and carry it on.

I carry mine in a gig bag but I've been on about a dozen in the last six months and so far I've always gotten lucky and the flight crews made room in the closet for my gits. The transparent bag is a good idea, would certainly save me from wearing out the zipper on my gig bag showing gits to TSA. lol
