    Great original design. I really like how you did the soundhole. Any tips on how to cut detailed soundholes like that?

    any special tools or is it just lots of patience?

    hang on. confusion. pen in shot, no . i used a knife and a dremmel to work the picture from the wood then blacked it in ;)

    cool box design but you do know that skrimshaw is ingraving in bone then blacking it in.
