    Thanks!  Its not a stain, thats padauk wood.. one of my favorite types because of the orange color

    Yep I glue the piece of wood on top just like the fingerboard and it also makes the nut slot

    How are you doing that two tone on the head stock....Taping it off then stain, or are you gluing a stained piece on top of the neck head?  That is really beautiful work that you are doing.
