I had the honor of being asked by MGB Guitars & Parts Supplier to do a test build of a new kit they will be coming out with soon... a CBG Ubass! It's a great little kit, easy and fun to build, comes with everything you need except the body. For mine I used a box from a tequila gift set.
I didn't bother putting in a soundhole, since even traditional Ubasses aren't loud enough to play along with other instruments, thus the need for a preamp. This thing thumps through my Hartke Kickback 12. I'll post a video demo in the coming week.
