The Duffinator

I built this 3 string "Beertar" for my son, Jeff. I call it "The Duffinator." It's the first musical instrument that I've built. I was going to make a license plate guitar, but he's not really in to cars. I knew he likes beer and The Simpsons so I took the fictional beer from the Simpsons and followed that theme. Most of the gear is from CBGitty.com. Box kit. Pre-fretted mahogany fret board. Enclosed tuners. Hard tail bridge. DeltaBucker Humbucker pickup with pre-wired volume/tone controls & jack. I made the Maple neck with 10 degree scarf joint head stock. The tail piece is a hard to find Duff Beer bottle opener. #CBGitty
