The Neck is Tas Oak, the Fretboard is Merbau, the Under Saddle Piezo Rod Pickup is an, “Ebay EQ 2 Band Acoustic Guitar Pickup Piezo & Passive Preamp”.
Dragged this long forgotten build from January 2014 out of the Shed, with the intention of modifying it a bit, by either replacing the Rod Piezo Pup with a Mag Pup, or making it into a Mag/Piezo 2 Pup Combo build, first thing I noticed was, that there was a bit of a “Whoopsy” with one of the Headstock Wings, in that the glued joint had somehow failed.
After Regluing and Pinning the Wing with 35mm long Rivet Shanks, giving it a good clean and replacing the Strings, discovered that, no Pickup changes or modifications were needed, as it sounds just fine with its original Pup Setup. :-)
