AGP #519 – “Duane”3 String Fretless Hofner Bass Style GuitarScale : 622.3mm / 24½ inchesStrings : .056NW / .038NW / .028NW /Tuned: E B eThe Body is 2 pieces of recycled 19mm thick solid Radiata Pine, with a 7mm piece of Hardwood Ply sandwiched between them, the Neck is Laminated Offcuts, all Timber was treated with a Golden Teak Stain, then 3 coats of brush on Blonde Shellac.A Pair of Fender P Bass Pickups are wired through 250k Vol & Tone Pots to the Output Jack.As the name probably suggests the idea behind this Build, was to try and get a “Duane Eddyish” sound, hence the heavy Strings and Scale Length, along with a suitable Twangy Style setting on my 100W Boss Katana Artist Amplifier, one’s never going to get it perfect with a 3 String CBG Type Git, but I’m reasonably happy with the result, and will try and get a sound sample done soon. :-)

"Thanks UJ", It's Marvelous what a Tickle with the Propane Torch, and a bit of Stain, can do to a bit of Cheap Ass Pine :-D
That is some fine grain and finish.
