AGP #498 - Block Rim Sawblade Build

Some Build Progress Pics of AGP #498, I’m sure other Builders will have different methods of doing a Saw Blade Build, but this how I usually do them, to try and get the Maximum Resonator Tone out of the Blade. :-)

  • "Thanks UJ", this is the eleventh 16 segment block rim build I've done, and still have plans to build a an 8 segment build, it's a good way to use up scarp offcuts of timber :-)

  • Yea, those staves are pretty thick, I get why you went electric?

  • Did try one with the blade touching the Hoop/Box sides 'BQ', but found this method had more Ring Tone :-)

  • You would get more if the blade is touching the sides of the hoop?
