Thanks for the details Alan! I’m too lazy to do that much woodworking, but I do have a Sawblade Chugger in process. Hope to have it finished in the next few days.
"Thanks UJ", this is the eleventh 16 segment block rim build I've done, and still have plans to build a an 8 segment build, it's a good way to use up scarp offcuts of timber :-)

Yea, those staves are pretty thick, I get why you went electric?
Did try one with the blade touching the Hoop/Box sides 'BQ', but found this method had more Ring Tone :-)
You would get more if the blade is touching the sides of the hoop?
