AGP #473 – “Gitukar”3 String Fretted Ukulele Body GuitarScale: 20 inchesStrings: .052NW .034NW .024NWTuned: G D gThe cheap Chinese Ukulele was gifted to me some years back, obviously made from very thin Plywood, but covered with some sort of paint & varnish, and as you can see, this was roughly removed with 80 grit sandpaper, the Neck is Melaleuca liariifolia, sourced from the trimming of some branches from a Bush/Tree growing at the side of my driveway, the through neck is recycled Grey Ironbark, the Uke Body was given a touch up with some old Brown Stain I had on hand, then it and the Neck were given a couple of coats of ‘Citronella Lamp Oil’.A 6.3k cheap ceramic Ebay Single Coil Pickup is hardwired to the Output Jack. Its reasonably loud Acoustically unplugged, but me being me, I do like to Amp them up, and make a noise! :-)
