AGP #434 - “Bloodwood”3 String Fretless GuitarScale: 660.4mm/26inchesStrings:0.46NW/0.32NW/0.22NW/Tuned: F C fThe slab of Red Bloodwood (Corymbia gummifera) was cut down and routed to a thickness of about 25mm/1” by my Son Robert (aka “Boof”), who then graciously passed it on to Moi, I then further planed, and sanded it down to a “bit” smoother finish, the Box Bottom is Cedar and 3mm Luan Ply, the recycled Neck and Fretboard are, I think Spotted Gum (Corymbia maculata), a related species to Red Bloodwood, all timber was given a good coat of Tung Oil.A 15k Hot Rail Humbucker Pickup is wired through Vol and Tone Pots to the Output Jack, the Vol/Tone Knobs are from a couple of empty (hic!) “Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum” bottles. :-)

"Thanks BQ", when doing this one it certainly was my intention to keep it as Raw as possible, whilst highlighting the natural colours, tried a few different Wax's Polish's etc., before deciding on Tung Oil, pretty sure I made the right decision, however the Hamfists did accumulate a few fine splinters during the build process, and yes Randy did put his Stamp of Approval on it. :-)

"Thanks Poorness", weighs 3.6kg, which is around the same weight as Fender Strat, also has a heavy sound coming through that 15k Humbucker. :-)
Genius keeping it raw like that!! I bet Randy Bretz would appreciate this one? Thanx for sharing, interesting what those hamfists can do :D
Very cool! That baby looks heavy... in more ways than one.
