AGP #397 - “Uncle Crow S.O.B.”3 String Fretless Stick On a Box GuitarScale: 641.35mm / 25¼ inchesStrings:.042NW/030NW/.022NW/ - Tuned: G D gThe Box is recycled free Venetian Blind pieces, the Sides are what I think is a hardwood called Victorian Ash, and the Top and Bottom is 4mm Cedar Slats, the neck is Cypress Pine, all Timber was coloured with a Walnut Stain then given coat of British Paints Acrylic Clear Gloss, an MGB 5.8k Mini Box Bucker is wired through a prewired Vol, Tone, Output Jack harness, which was one of 3 kindly, sent by MGB as free samples, with some Flat Wound Pups I purchased from him. :-)

  • Thanks Jock & Andries, the S.O.B. was definitely a tongue in cheek addition, and Andries the MGB Mini Bucker  and position seemed the best method to add a Mag Pup.  :-)

  • Thanks Denbo, UJ & BQ, the Sound Holes were originally going to be F Holes, the Crow's were a last minute brain wave!, glad ya all like them!  :-)

  • I saw this and liked it a lot - so warm and rich and such good lines.  I saw it was an uncle crow style.  Then I saw those sound holes.  Nine point 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999!

  • Nice Dulci Crow AGP# ,it keep on evolving whit every new build of a Uncle Crow i see ! how does that MBB do in that spot ?  S (stick) O (on the) B (Box)  found & Used ! great consept !

  • I like the way you have used a variety of "found" materials. The result is excellent. I did wonder if it was hard to make when I saw SOB, until I read the text ;-)
