"Thanks Dave", Tassie Oak does sound and look exotic, and although 'Bones' would probably disagree, I personally find it a bit of a difficult timber to work with, particularly when cutting Fret Slots, however our local hardware mob has a plentiful and varied supply of the stuff, and its cheap, did think about 2 strings ala Erasmo style but opted for my fave 3 string configuration. :-)
