  • Sweet "Tweety Bird" 'UJ', and thanks for bringing one of my often "Typo Errors" to my attention, don't know why I mentioned that M'dog was in Arkansas, when I obviously knew he was in "Nebraska", must have got "Nebraska" confused (which isn't hard for me) with another one of the 50 or so States you have over there, we only have 6 States plus 2 Federal Territories, which is a bit easier for me to remember the names of.  :-D

  • That is an eastern lark like we have in Iowa.  They have a pretty song heard mostly or only in the spring and summer.  I see them on phone and power lines.

  • Eastern Meadowlark Breeding adult (Eastern)

  • Maddog has a daughter in Arkansas, but lives in Nebraska.  He just bought a new home, an acreage.

That looks great, Allan. That bird is a Meadowlark. We have eastern Meadowlarks in Iowa and Nebraska has both eastern and western meadowlarks. The western one is their state bird. To be honest, I am not expert enough to tell eastern from western. they look a great deal alike.
  • Yep! 'UJ", Maddog, the King of LPG Builders from "Arkansas" :-)

  • Maddog!
