The bridge plate is brass. If you see the end of the ebony is milled out with a groove. The small screw heads that are fixed to the plate run in the groove. Once the fixing screws are in that keeps them in line.
My feeling is that they aren't going to move very much unless I change string gauge all the time. If I keep the same stings then the ebony part of the bridge stays adjusted to the same point. The saddle piece will be in front with the adjustment screws nearer the tail. More photos coming soon. All the best. John
