I think all this is much for the kids as it is for us old farts. This will imprint on her like crazy. Though I'm sure she thinks you're crazy. My grand kids love every one of my boxes and one in particular, my yougest boy is very good on the ukulele. He started me playing uke and now I've got over 100 of them. My oldest grandson made a two string bass out of a plank of Pople. No body, just neck. It sounds great and looks sharp.
