Bridge made from rubber wood and cedar with ebony saddle. Piezos are between the rubber wood and the cedar. Red anodised bicycle spoke nipples to protect the box from the strings (how often do you have a good excuse to say nipples on a site like this).

Howard. I will try to get some pics sorted out before too long.
Richard. I put on the lowest three from a set of electric 8s, but the lowest string seemed a bit loose so I replaced it with one from a set of 9s. Just a little heavier. I think that makes these .021" .030" and .042". It's tuned to low DAD.
Them little nipper are just great ,,,, what are ur string guages RK ??? I thinking ths where i missing some sound ,,, really like the deeper sound u get
Howard. The concave ends of the bridge were cut with a milling cutter. The convex bits were done with a belt sander and then filed. Then the whole thing was papered and finished with sanding sealer and oil.
The nipples great idea. I used to race mnt. But ended up with six screws and two plates still in my Elbow:-( what tool did u use to cutt the bridge so exact and clean?
