The Briggs & Stratton muffler end was a true gold find, it work out great for a string holder and a hand rest. I guess it's not too bad for a first build. I got plans for my next build now.

Good on the how to play videos. There are a lot of them and many good. knotlenny's CBG 101 in the resource section at page top helped me most. Good wishes on the piezos. Approx. half my builds take some tweaking and some times I even have to put the aside for a while.
String spacing? It looks good to me. When it is your build, space em' how you like em'.
Thanks Gary, I just love doing odd ball guitar builds. it's the best way to learn how these things work. I'm living away from home at the moment and really missing my shed/man cave. I will do a vid once I sort out the sound issues. :o)
Thanks Uncle John, It did turn out well, thanks to the piece of wood, there was no wood stain used , just the natural satin poly finish. "How's it play"?? It feels great in the hand, it's balanced really well, so the weight isn't mostly on the neck. sound wise it's crap at the moment, because the Piezo's aren't really in the best location to pick up clean vibrations, I guess the body seems to adsorb quite a lot more than the hollow CBG's.
I will route out under the bridge to get closer to the bridge mounts with the two Piezo's and then have the humbucker between the plug hole and the neck then I should be able to produce a demo vid.
"How's my playing going"? It's coming along slowly, still getting used to quite large string spacing, so it's all fingers and thumbs at the moment, but I now have two good training git's to get me up to speed.
