A 2-string electric guitar build from dimensional lumber. There is a 3' redwood 2x2 down the center and two pieces of pine 2x4 glued to each side. The 2x4 was from an old weathered pallet I got free. It uses a bar piezo as a pickup and is tuned to open E.

Thanks for the lesson references Uncle John. I'm not sure if I found the correct one for Shane Spiel, but the Knotlenny's lesson is great. I brought this guitar into my office and people are afraid of it. They ask, "how do you play it" and I try to explain that it's in open tuning, so every fret is a power chord. They look at me with a blank stare. Next time, I'll just send them this video link.
My fave guitar has a 2x4 neck. Those 2 strings are fun. Have you seen Shane Spiel's lesson on 2 string chuggers? Also, knotlenny's CBG 101 3 string lesson works fine for a 2 string tuned I V - like EB, DA, GD, CG.
