Uh oh...Microtonal madness has set in!!! Listen to the accompanying mp3 audio sample...THAT says it all...LOL!!! Here, I present my newest creation, one I have dubbed the "microtonal scrapper strummer", here shown in it's 2 string configuration. There are 16 intervals to an octave on this neck. The sound board was from an earlier build I had dismanteled a few years back. Accompanying this instrument are the Lyra Mbira and a 10 hole bamboo saxophone (made from a shakuhachi inspired flute that I made). Remove the tenor sax mouthpiece and you have an end blown flute!
