  Thanks, I wanted to do something swoopy to go with the cool box. I guess it worked out pretty well.
  I've gotten a few 1x2 oak boards out of this same scrap pile, that I've make necks out of also. They came from hardwood pallets---most of the time the pallets this place has are pine, but once & a while I score with some maple or oak.

  I'm thinking it's maple- I found the board in a wood scrap pile while walking my dog!

  hey man that neck looks sick lovin the head stock. Is that neck walnut or maple
