I built the amplifier circuit from plans at runnoffgrove.comVolume on left, gain on right. It will go from clean to mean. Picks up radio stations though!Output 1/2 watt. 3" Apple computer speaker w/big magnet!Makes a really nice harp mic amp.

    I buy a roll of auminum tape at the hardware store in the air conditioner/ dryer section . The 3 inch tape they use for that stuff . Sure makes it go easier.

    Thank you for the complements and advice. Been saving the heavy aluminum seals from 3lb.coffee to try lining inside with.I learned about shielded cable just after finishing!!
