Are you guys talking about the little 10 watt amps that go for about $30 at Music Go Round? I see a lot of old radios and tape players used as amp bodies. Looks like they are using the cases more than the components. I want to make one. I think ripping one apart for the guts will be fun.
I've been thinking of the 30$ amps at Music Go Round. I own two of them. They are sooo ugly. Taking the guts out and making a new old box for it might be fun. Yours is neat.

I just used the guts out of old cheap practice, so other than just making a few connections there was nothing to learn.
I like it too. The happy face between the dials is great. How did you learn the electronics? Is there a CB amp book yet?
