This was a ready built C. B. Gitty basic fretless that I have modified. I added a fretboard to raise the surface closer to the strings. Also I added a brass rod to the bridge and used Tung oil on all wood surfaces after finishing the wood. I could not get the neck off the guitar body so the surfaces were not as flush as I would like but it is homegrown after all. I have yet to finish as I want to add a piezo that I got today, and add the fret lines to the new fretboard. I really do like the concept of this economy and basic guitar. It is very well done.
