  • Yep Kevin, 1972 Johnny was at Nebraska. He was also on the Nebraska team that won National Championships in 70 and 71.

John, I always figured you for a dasher :-)

  • Man that plate is in good shape and Kieth is right, a great year for Nebraska football and Johnny Rogers.

My own Johnny Rogers story.  I think it was 1966 and I was entered in a high school hundred yard dash.  I think it was at Boys Town in Omaha.   On my left was a skinny kid in an Omaha Tech track uniform.   The gun  went off and I ran my fastest hundred ever.   Johnny the jet Rogers must have beaten me by 12 yards.   Maybe more.  I get faster with age.

  • 1972...Johnny Rodgers, right?

  • Thanks Richey!

Get that plate build a goin' Richey :-)

  • Wonderful - I still haven't started on my license plate build...
