  • Thanks James!

Thanks Dave! I love the old plates, Keith Alan form Houston is sending me an old Texas plate. It's in the post offices hands right now as a matter of fact  :-)

  • Thanks Maddog for the info. I've got a heavy wood socket set box that will be my first victim. And a nice old Texas plate. Summer will be plate time....
  • Man that's a fine looking Guitar Great job Maddog !!!

  • Thanks James!

  • fine looking guitar !!!

  • Thanks Pick, Jim, Wes, Dave and Richey!

Dave: The plate has a small cavity between the base and the neck but I have to leave quite a bit of wood inside to support the 6 string neck.

Mostly an electric, with the humbucker the whole plate acts as a pickup though. :-)

Richey: Back in the 60's we were the Beef State, we still are in my opinion. We do have a LOT of corn too though :-)

  • Maddog. Damn dude you've done it again. A highly desirable guitar. I thought Nebraska was 'the cornhusker state' though?

  • You've got me hooked on wanting to make a license plate guitar. I've got a nice few plates. What's inside these monsters? Is the plate free to vibrate or does it sit on the neck trough board?
  • Man you make some beauties Maddog! Real nice setting too.

  • another  maddog yumyum !!
