1923 Iowa 3 String LPG

1923 Iowa 3 String License Plate Guitar, barnwood body, maple neck/heel/fretboard, 26 5/8" fretted scale, walnut headstock wings, walnut fret dots, Elmar "Original Flatpup" pickup (handmade in Vienna, Austria), old paper "Western Super X" 12 gauge shotgun shell volume knob, onyx nut, old bolt bridge/saddle, black pearloid tuners, black strap buttons. This was a commision build for Joe Bustad's Birthday from his wife Ann. Great folks from Johnston, Iowa, it was a pleasure seeing them again yesterday when they came to pick the git up.

    Thanks Peter! The barnwood for the body comes from a barn on the farm where my Grandma was born, dates to around 1880. It was the lining on the inside of the oat bin, I was lucky enough to be able to salvage all the wood before the barn was torn down.
