The maple for this 3 string came from the back leg of a piano that was built in 1896. 28 3/4" scale, bass mag pup pickup, onyx nut, bolt saddle, cherry bridge, walnut fret dots @ 3,5,7,10,12,15,17,19 and 21, cherry fret dots @ 1,2 &4, reverse jack plate off an old strat, pearloid open tuners, Blues Breaker Strings by C.B. Thanks Al! I still routed a space behind the plate to house the wiring from the pickup and ground from the bridge. I just kinda like the way these jacks look reversed, gives a unique little conversation starter I call it :-)

Simple, cool. Reverse the jack plate and no need to route! How's it sound?
Thanks BCD! It wasn't to bad, I took a plunge router and made a space behind the jack to house everything.
A great build. Was it difficult to hook up the electronics?
