Jeff, AGP, Pick, Cause and Jim. Thanks. I was leaning toward shop 'art'. But Pick's idea of a guitar back suits me well. I think it will hang in the shop until I think I need to build a big git.
I don't usually care what the back of a git looks like. I admire the gorgeous woods on the back of some gits. But I don't care on my own. But still, I like the idea of this on the back of a git.
It's screaming guitar top. Sandwich two pieces of 1/2 behind it. Make sure to leave room in the top one for a piezo. Then put the jack in the back. Or side. But not on top. That way the only thing to block any of the works would be a thin bridge.

guitar back . it has all the fixins of a song / set list you would see taped to the back of many a gig guit . sans the beer stains ;-)
I think it's got "Tenor Guitar Top" written all over it :-D
