  Thanks I am building two cbg s I made a stuff up with scale length and did it 26'5 inches. Found it difficult to play and kept breaking strings. I now have to make up two new fret boards and planning on a 24inch scale length. I have to remove the frets which I glued in with super glue. I see the can be removed by applying heat. I have been playing ukuleles in the past but find my fingers are getting less supple so I decided to give the cbg a go. Oh well its a challenge for me and a new interest
