Thanks for sending me this post! I have a tenor acoustic ukulele left over from the Festival of Trees. It is acoustic though. I can certainly build one with a pickup installed though . I will also have to build a double amplifier with a voice input. The amps I have are spread out to 6 different galleries right now. I have been building these instruments for a little over three years now and I have made over 300. I have played the guitar since I was 15 yrs. old. It really helps in making the instruments look and sound better. You never know what your instrument will sound like, so each one is a challenge in that respect. Actually I heard about Cigar Box Nation through Gitty Crafters website. I stumbled on Gitty's website while on EBAY. Cigar box cigars are so fun to play. I play at about all 6 galleries I am associated with and many outdoor events. I played last week at the Festival of Trees in Davenport,IA., Beau Arts this past summer and I played at the Bucktown Review in Davenport also. Weren't you a newscaster for a while in the Quad Cities? I remember your name. If you are interested in seeing my instruments I can send you a few photos. My EMAIL address is: lovemusic@mchsi.com and my home phone is 309-754=8849.Nice talking to you and Cigar Box Nation is a great organization to be a part of!!
