Should the top of the box touch the neck in a neck through design?
I've read where one builder makes sure the neck going through the box does not inhibit the top from vibrating. I've heard elsewhere that a builder attaches his neck to the top of the box. Are both options viable or is one more commonly used? What…

I saw your inquiry about builders who make 4 stringers with low action, not for slide, but for fretting notes/chords. Been a while since I made a cigar box guitar. Mostly I make solid body electric 4 string tenor guitars now. If you don't build, and are looking for one done for you, I might be interested in making one for you.
