Bolt nut starting point for fret lay out
HI ,On my 2nd cbg build.Have not use a bolt for the nut .So iam think the center point of the bolt would be the fret line to start with to bring your scale down the neck.Can anyone tell me if this i the correct or not (cutting in fret so i want to…

Thanks for the friend add. I will try to call you over the weekend. We are looking at making a cookie tin with one young man, and after playing withthe ones I made, he want to try a 4 string! Gotta love youth and enthusiasm. We are thinking of just putting the neck on top to get around some of the sawing. The drilling seems to be ok with the higher ups for now.

The CBG was tuned Bb,F,Bb and so with the capo on the 4th fret that makes it D,A,D
