Hi Mike,
Update, our trip to Halifax in early April is unfortunately cancelled. So if you're still planning a trip to Cape Breton, give em a shout and we'll figure out a meet up, okay? Cheers.
Hey Mike,
Just missed ya in chat Wednesday afternoon. Yeah, no not likely coming to Hfx this week due to weather &schedule. But more likely in early April. Saw your comment, and of course can meet ya at the Esso if you're passing thru to Cape Breton. Can gimme a call (902) 872-2840
Hi and thanks! I am only making a few pickups at a time, they are here

thanks for asking, John
I looked at the site...for Keith's...I saw the large wooden boxes...are those what you mean for amps?
Hey Mike, good to hear from you
If your going to add a piezo pickup to your cgb lap dulci...cut a slot and use a rod piezo, they can be cut shorter. I would just add wings to either side of the slot, drop in the rod and add a bone saddle.
Under the fretboard
No experience with speakers for pickups, but have read numerous posts that suggest it can be done. Since it is small, placement seems simple. But too close to the sweet spot, and it may be too harsh. Too far from it and it may sound dampened.
Seems the neck is a fine place to put it

This one I used a forsner bit to make spots for the two discs...but I have done same to a slat of wood (walnut or other hard wood) as a bridge, then place a saddle on top of that
Hi Mike,
I haven't put two piezos in two different locations (one at bridge & one at neck). When I use two disks, they go side by side right, either inside the piece of wood I use as a bridge, or inside the box right under to bridge location. I think I have a pic that shows what I mean.
