Thank you for your reply. I'm looking for players to post instructional videos about how to play their creations. We are swamped here with building information, but playing lessons are at a shortage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy.
Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
I haven't heard from anyone from Deeproots Media yet but I'll be happy to talk with them. I haven't had a chance to check out your video yet but I will soon.
Hey Larry,
Thanks for adding me as a friend. I'm not real active on the nation lately. My brother, Steve "Bonehead" Dahm, is definitely the talent in the family. I visited him in Bend this past January and we built some guitars together. It was fun. I have some tools and materials here at home in southern Cali and I'm going to put some more together one o these days. Look forward to getting more pix online too. Take care.
Hey Larry! Thanks for the interest. I'll be loading pics as I have a chance. I just finished 6 new Sipsey River Steels. Youre probably curious what they are. They are basically carved out cypress knees that I have made into lap steels. If you read my blog, you'll see that it was kind of a fluke! They sound incredible, and I've decided to make a go of building and hopefully selling some. I'll be loading pictures of the finished ones, and some links to youtube videos and music files as soon as we finish them. Have a great one! Jack
Thanks larry for the kind words. I just finished my first CGB this afternoon and it is a lot of fun. I post some picts tomorrow. Looks like you have quite an operation going on as well and doing some really nice work. I like the mountain dulcimer . Take care
Hey Larry, Thanks..I've only made one CBG so far, but I have plans to do more. I like the fender neck i see in your photos. I guess I'll have to get a band saw and have at it! Really nice pics. Thnaks for getting in touch....More soon, Joni
