Fingerboard for a Bowed Instrument

I found this T-moulding used in flooring and I noticed it has a rounded top to it that reminds me of a radiused fingerboard for a violin family instrument. I wonder if it would be possible to use a length of T-moulding for a fingerboard.  I understan
