I really love the preamp and rod piezo setup. My question is, I got the best tone when I used the rod piezo on top of the guitar as a bridge. Really cut down on the finger noise. I ended up putting it in a hollow rod on top of the guitar for…
Read more…Seems to me I saw a template here some time back that had to do with neck widths for 3 and 4 string guitars but I can't reference it now. Anybody remember this?

Sorry for the delay. I go away once a year for a week of vacation. All the orders that were placed between 7/11 and 7/18 were shipped out on 7/19. They should arrive shortly. It was quite pleasant in Cape Cod. Nice and cool in the evenings. With the windows open, I needed a blanket. Back here in NJ the temp is up to 100. Tomorrow they say it might be hotter!!! Thank the Good Lord for ice water. Thank you for your purchase. Try to stay cool, Keni Lee
BTW: I lived in San Antonio for three years while I was stationed at Kelly AFB. I really miss the good Tex-Mex food. Burritos and coffee for breakfast was my favorite.
Welcome aboard, Bob! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).
Up in the Free Resources menu at the top, you will see a number of plans for building and playing cigar box guitars/ukuleles/banjos/dulcimers/violins. I encourage you to download any of the plans, take a look at them, and ask questions from there. Also our site is VERY searchable. I bet you your questions have already been asked, so take a few moments and look around.
Join our Chat sometime (see the bar at the bottom of your browser page). Keep in mind that tho the chat window says there are X number of people online, not all may have the chat window up.
Most of all, have fun!
