No sweat! I really like doing this for you and the others. It's my way of giving back. Who knows, someday when I grow up I might be a real guitar maker. q;-)
Anthony: Sorry, but I don't have an extra slide, but you can get one custom made by Willy, the guy who made mine. I use a bottleneck 1-1/2". Go to my blog and you'll see a link for his site. Tell him I sent you, and I know he'll take care of you. If it fails, let me know and I'll send you his address.
Your guitar is completed and on it's way to you. It will probably take a couple weeks, if the past is any indication of the future.
Please send me photos of you with it for a post on my site. If you like it, let the folks on the nation know, and if not, use it as a fly swatter. q;-)
Enjoy, and thanks for giving me the op to build it for you.
Anthony:
Thanks for the kind comments.
There are a couple interesting posts on the Nation which you can glean some building tips from, and if you send me your personal email address, I can provide a breakdown of building steps I use in construction of my own instruments.
And, adding a pickup to an existing CBG is no problem, especiall if it is a Piezo transducer like mamy of the builders use, including myself. Once again, I can share some info on that.
But, if you can wait, I'll include some information with your guitar when I send it. Let me know.
Jess
Anthony: No sweat, I'll build it soon. A couple questions. Are you right or left handed? Can you provide me with a branch of service and unit insignia? What is your complete mailing address? You can email me the details at jallred489@gmail.com. I look forward to building your guitar. My only request is that you send me pics after receiving it, and letting me know how you like it, so I can post it on my blog http://totalrojoguitars.blogspot.com/. Jess
Anthony: Has anyone committed to building you a guitar? If not, let me know soon, and I will create one for you. It will take me a couple weeks to work it in, but I will do it. Jess
Anthony: I'm currently building two guitars for warriors, which is the reason I'm not commiting right now. But, I want you to have a guitar, so, if no one else steps forward, drop me a note and I'll get one to you. Jess

Anthony: I'm glad you're pleased. Send me some pics when you have a chance. I hope you enjoy it. Stay safe and well. Jess
