Here’s a layout of the 10 minute Fuzz, originally called the BazzFuss built by Christian Hemmo in the late 90’s. Probably the easiest transistorized pedal you can build, experiment with different…Continue

Boogie on Ol' Grey Bear!!
Thanks again Blind Lemon Cello. This has helped massively. Going to go and get the battery you mentioned. I cant thank you enough!
You'll be good with this type of battery. Pedal will draw what it needs. Just make sure you get the + & - correct.
That's a massive help. Thanks again. One other question if I'm not pushing my luck too much. Is it important to match the 800ma output requirement exactly when looking for the battery to make it portable? I know very little about electronics but I believe it's the 12 volt part I need to worry about? Thanks again for your help. Massive help.
Your very welcome Bear! I get my batteries on eBay. If your just going to run the pedal you can go with a smaller one like 5ah. Battery has push on clips, so what I would do is just setup a female plug to accept the male plug from the pedal. This way your not cutting any wires on pedal. To charge the battery you can use almost any 12v adapter to then make some clips to attach to battery to charge. Hope this helps.
That's it exactly Blind Lemon Cello. I'll do a search for the battery you mentioned. Any suggestions on how to wire it up to the pedal? Would it be a simple matter of cutting the plug off and lead into a battery housing? That would mean I couldn't use it plugged in sometimes as well though because the cord is permanently attached to the unit rather than into a jack. Just wondering if I can pick your brains a little more. Thanks for your help.
Hi all. Quick question for you all if that's OK.
I'm thinking about getting a pedal but would want to be able to take it out of the house even though it's a plug in the wall job. It's 12v 800ma output (that's what it says on the plug). Is there a way of doing this?
I don't want to have to lug around a petrol generator or anything but does anyone know of a portable power pack I could plug into that would be suitable? Does anyone already do this? Hoping someone can help me with this one.
Thanks in advance!
Bear
Budget modulation reccomendations:
Joyo Tremolo : A joyous £30 well spent recently :-)
Rockburn Delay : Great slapback and more reliable than my WEM Copicat !
Hi all ! I'm new to this group . I don't own or use lots of effects, but I feel the need to "big up" my Williams Audio Vintage Tone MkI . It's hand made in England and is rhe best Tonebender clone there is ! Stick it between a '52 Re-issue Tele & a WEM Clubman for instant authentic 60's Fuzz !
Does anyone know of a real store in the UK where I can buy a Mid-Fi Electronics Demo Tape Fuzz ?
